Add New Account

  • Account Number: Unique identifier for the account.
  • Description: Description of the account.
  • Parent Account: Select parent account.
  • Account Type: Choose the appropriate account type.
  • Category: Select the account category.
  • Dept Breakdown Category: Assign category for departmental reporting.
  • Department: Associate account with specific department.
  • Debit/Credit: Specify normal balance (Debit or Credit).
  • Allow in JE? (Yes/No): Enable us in journal entries.
  • Allow in order entry? (Yes/No): Enable use in order processing.
  • Allow in PO? (Yes/No): Enable use in purchase orders.
  • Allow in Freight Out? (Yes/No): Enable use for freight expense allocation.
  • Allow in AP Prepayments? (Yes/No): Enable use for AP prepayments.
  • eCommerce Account? (Yes/No): Designate for eCommerce transactions.
  • 3rd Party eComm Account? (Yes/No): Mark for third-party eCommerce.
  • EBITDA add-back? (Yes/No): Include in EBITDA calculations.
  • 1099 MISC? (Yes/No): Flag for 1099-MISC reporting.
  • 1099 NEC? (Yes/No): Flag for 1099-NEC reporting.
  • Is Zoho Category? (Yes/No): Integrate with Zoho systems.
  • Balance: Enter opening balance if applicable.

Adding New Departments

  • Department Number: Unique identifier for the department.
  • Description: Description of the department.
  • Department Type: Select the appropriate department classification.
  • Labor Rate: Standard labor rate for the department.
  • Burden Rate: Overhead burden rate for cost calculations.
  • Included in Loss of Sales?: Specify if department should be included in loss of sales analysis.

Adding New Account Types

  • Description: Description of the account type.
  • Parent Account Type: Select parent type for hierarchical structure.
  • Total Line Description: Description for subtotal lines in reports.
  • P&L / Balance Sheet: Specify whether accounts appear on Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet.
  • Debit / Credit: Define normal balance type (Debit or Credit).
  • Order on Financial Stmt: Set presentation sequence.
  • Net Sales: Indicate if type contributes to net sales calculations.

Adding New CAR Numbers

  • CAR #: Unique capital asset request number.
  • Description: Project description.
  • GL Code: Associated general ledger account.
  • Amount: Approved project amount.
  • Part of Capital Loan: Indicate if funded by capital loan.
  • Tax Exempt: Specify tax exemption status.
  • Inception Date: Project start date.
  • Expected Completion: Planned completion date.
  • Actual Completion: Actual completion date.

Adding New AR Memo Codes

  • Description: Description of the memo code.
  • GL Account: Associated general ledger account.
  • Invoice Required(Yes/No): Require invoice reference.
  • Part Required(Yes/No): Require part number reference.
  • Create Inventory Adjustment(Yes/No): Automatically adjust inventory.
  • Inventory Adjustment Reason: Reason code for inventory adjustments.
